He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Deptula Walker of Rockville and Henry Daniel Walker; his wife Mary Pliska Walker; his son Dennis of Coventry; and his siblings, Lucille Burke of Poquonock and Henry Walker of Rockville.
He is survived by: his children, Linda McDonald (John) of Wolcott, Mark of Wolcott, Christopher (Cheri Nauges) of Rockville and Sheila (James Lyon) of Bloomfield; his granddaughters, Kyleigh Civitello (Isaac) of Middlebury and Allison McDonald (Michael Jones) of Wolcott; his sister Dorothy Sanders of East Hartford; and his cousins, Florence Zielinski of Milford and Shirley Hufcutt of Milford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
