He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Auwood (Hartman); his sister Elizabeth Bresser; and his half-siblings, James Auwood and Virginia Waido Gibson. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Laro (Kenneth Laro) of Old Lyme and Kathleen Hill (Peter Hill) of Springfield, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Gregory Hill (Beth), Timothy Hill, Julia Piechsner (Paul), Meghan Hill Parezo, Dr. Joseph Laro (Laura), Kyle Laro (Shannon), Kaley Manierre (Vincent) and Bree Ostrowski (Evan); his brother Joseph Auwood; and his cousin Janet Hesser. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
