With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn R. Weckwerth of Uncasville, Connecticut, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Varney and Ruth Varney (Thompson); her husband Richard; her daughter Rhonda DiLallo; and her brother William Varney.

She is survived by: her son Richard S. Weckwerth (Holly). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Montville Funeral Home of Church And (53 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Montville, CT 06382). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
