She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sandown and Amanda Sandown; her husband Thomas G. Connell; her siblings, Irene Babeski, Minnie Barbuto and Alfred Saindon; her nephew William Babeski; and her grandson Zachary DiCioccio.

She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne; her son-in-law Anthony DiCioccio; her son Richard Connell; her granddaughter Toni Anne Henry (Jonathan); her nieces and nephews, Debra Hartley, Wendy, Lee Poplett, Jackie, Hunter, Dakota Bunch, Frank Kovalik, Todd Jones and Monique Ducas; and her great grandchildren, Alexandria and Adrien.
