He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Samul and Lucille Grew Samul; and his son Edward T. Samul III. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Samul (Dawn) of Uncasville, Todd Samul (Phyllis) of Uncasville and Michelle Kost (Steve) of Shelton; his close friend Ellie Adams of Uncasville; his siblings, Ron Samul of New London and Janice Williams of Waterford; and his grandchildren, Evan Samul, Eddie Radzion, Kelsey Radzion and Tyler Radzion.
