She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Short and Madeline Short (Holland); her husband James J. Santangelo Jr. Dorothy; and her brother Douglas Short. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Goodwin of Taftville and Linda Cabral of Uncasville; and her siblings, Donald Short, Daniel Short and Diane McClure. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
