She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rivera and Aurelia Acosta; her brother Benito Rivera; her daughters, Evelyn Baez and Nydia Hernandez; and her son-in-law Juan Hernandez.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Natashanicole Borrero, Angelica Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Yaira Hernandez and Armani Patterson; her son-in-law Tony; her children, Maribel Baez, Ricardo Baez (Mabel), Gilberto Baez Ir (Fella), Ada Iris Baez, Luis Baez (Tammy), Richard Baez, Rosa Baez (Tony) and Maritza Rivera; and her siblings, Palmira Velez, Loraida Rivera, Israel Velez, Miguel Velez and Hizacio Velez. She is also survived by her family and friends.
