He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Kohlbacker (Hubina); and his parents, Engelbert Kohlbacker and Meina Kohlbacker (Maier). He is survived by: his children, William K. Kohlbacker (Robin), Alan R. Kohlbacker of Trumbull, Jeffrey M. Kohlbacker (Donna) and Kim A. Nikola (Paul) of Naugatuck; his granddaughters, Kristine A. Davis and Jennifer M. Kellum (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Austin Davis and Jenna Kellum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611.
