He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Florence Meyer Bevacqua; his parents, Vincenzo and Teresina Bevacqua (Paola); his children, Renee Bevacqua Bollier (Dennis) of Woodbridge, Yvette Baron (Wayne) and William A. Bevacqua, Jr. (Jennifer) of Niantic; his grandchildren, Hunter Baron, Daniel, Lauren Bollier, Matthew and Robert Bevacqua; and his siblings, Joseph Bevacqua, Anthony Bevacqua, Nicholas Bevans, John Bevacqua, Sr. and Rosa Bevacqua. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church.
