It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Van Hatzis of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Van Hatzis to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hatzis and Aglaia Hatzis (Pyrita); and his sisters, Antigone and Olga. He is survived by: his wife Christina; his children, Thomas Hatzis (Emily), Peter Hatzis (Ana) and Laura (Kevin Roetzel); his grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, Lauren and Julia; and his brothers, Nicholas, Gus, Stephen and Stacey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
