She is survived by: her sons, James Sherman of New York, NY. and Scott Sherman (Emma Goldman Sherman) of New York, NY.; her grandson Edward Sherman; her sister Sara Matzkin (Michael) of Boston, MA.; and her nieces, Jessica Schachtman (Brian), Elizabeth Smith (Erik) and Laura Griffin (Liam).
