He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Bernfeld (Wilker); his parent Mollie Bernfeld (Finkelstein); his children, Hope Cooper (late Lawrence) of Orange, Greg Bernfeld (Cindy) and Melissa Bernfeld of Monroe; his grandchildren, Aaron, Lydia, Molly Sophia and Carley; his sister Gloria Schwartz (Marvin); and his nieces, Pam and Lyn.
