He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Martinez and Michelina Martinez; and his brother Sebastian Martinez. He is survived by: his children, David J. Martinez Sr. (Roseanne) of Ansonia and Kimberly Martinez; and his grandchildren, David J. Martinez Jr. (Sara) of Danbury, Nicholas and Gianna Martinez of Ansonia.
