He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tobis and Elizabeth Tobis (Minarcik); his daughter Rosemary Tobis (Balogh); his wife Patricia Tobis (Olivares); and his son-in-law Edward McDowell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn (Pasquale Criscuolo), Sally McDowell and Pamela (Douglas Kimball); his grandchildren, Katherine (Robert George), Christopher (Amanda Criscuolo), Ryan (Amanda Criscuolo), Miles McDowell, Molly McDowell (Christopher Griffin), Abigail Kimball, Emily (Noah Burns) and Hannah Kimball; his great grandchildren, Christian, Justin Criscuolo, Matthew, Max Criscuolo and Georgiana Griffin; and his brother-in-law Edward (Elaine Balogh). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and some dear friends.
