It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland C. Young of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Giannini Young; his father Andrew Young; and his brothers, Donald and Warren Young. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Young (Lisa) of Milford and Diane Mercado (Robert) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Kiely Treschitta (Kenny), Joseph Mercado (Sarah) and Danniel Mercado (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Meelo Mercado, Noah Treschitta and Natalie Treschitta; his sister-in-law Marie Giannini Faustine; and his caregiver Enoch Frimpong.
