He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Paretti Burgholzer (Ginger) of Trumbull; his parents, Robert Anthony Burgholzer Sr. and Catherine Rita Cryan Burgholzer; his children, Catherine Burgholzer (Paul Tenreiro) and Robert Burgholzer III (Anne Burgholzer); his granddaughters, Emmy Tenreiro and Brooke Burgholzer; and his sisters, Jean Fitzpatrick (Eugene) and Cathy Sause (Ed). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
