He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Nichio and John Nichio. He is survived by: his father-in-law Nick; his uncle Don Jordan; his children, Richard Jr., Craig (Danielle), Rebecca (Kathy) and Alicia (Al); his grandchildren, Victoria, Adam, Anthony, Andrei, Dmitri and Malia; and his brothers, Peter (Karen) and Tom (Sherri).
