With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J. Ranocchia of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ranocchia and Antoinette Avellino Ranocchia; his daughter Gina Montanaro; his sister Ann Marie Smolka; his brother-in-law Walter Smoka; and his father-in-law Chester Chambers Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Chambers Ranocchia; his children, Michael Ranocchia (Nicole), Daniel Ranocchia (Danielle) and Lisa Ranocchia Munster (Juan); his son-in-law Michael Montanaro; his grandchildren, Gianna, Giancarlo Montanaro, Talia, Alyssa, Joseph, James Ranocchia, Benicio and Sienna Munster; his mother-in-law Lillian Atcherson; and his brothers, Chuck Chambers and Gail Zuber (Dean Chambers). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
