He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stapleton and Edith Stapleton (Sidebotham). He is survived by: his spouse Michele Dirgo Stapleton; his sister Judith Daniels of Brighton; his daughters, Candida M. McKay of South Windsor, CT. and Annie L. Stapleton of Palo Alto, CA.; and his grandchildren, Natalie, Benjamin Krebs, Calvin, Clinton and Magnolia Mae Stapleton Crady.
