She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Fragomeli and Marie Fragomeli (Clark); her husband Peter C Simmel; and her siblings, Vincent (Dolina), Joseph (Marcella), John Fragomeli (Karen), Cecilia Uva (Thomas) and Frances Heckel (John).
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Emmanouilidis (Dimitrios), Peter Simmel (Sherry) and Michael Simmel (Noreen); her grandchildren, Peter, Dimitrios Emmanouildis (Dana), Conner Gaffney, Kristen, Zachary, Carly and Megan Simmel; her great grandchildren, Dimitrios and Dylan Emmanouildis; and her brother Frederick Fragomeli (Marisa) of South Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
