He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Halina Karwowski Wegiel; his parents, Izydor Wegiel and Honorata Dynak Wegiel; his daughters, Margaret Pereira (John Paul Pereira) and Theresa Wegiel Burden; his grandchildren, Jacob Jesse Wegiel Burden (Shannon Marie Hefferle), Timothy Tyler Pereira (Nicole Morahan Pereira), Daniel MJ Pereira, Michael Lucas Burden, Patrick Gabriel Burden, Cassie Halina Pereira and Samantha Marie Pereira; and his sisters-in-law, Marianna Turski (Eugene), Anna Karwowski and Jadwiga Wegiel (John Wegiel). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
