He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio W. Porto and Victoria Zayoc Porto; and his sister Rosemarie Botsko. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Porto Halchak (Daniel), Jeffrey L. Porto (Lisa) and Victoria Porto; his grandchildren, Emily Dziloski (Arben), Katherine Rose (Nathaniel) and Daniel G. Halchak; his great grandchildren, Aliyah, Sianna Dziloski and Asher Rose; his siblings, Carmen M. Porto Sr., William E. Porto and Barbara Ann Thomas; his close friends, Diane, Clement Landry and Kelley Brousseau of Vermont; and also Faith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
