He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusto Cortina and Rosa Cortina (Zangrilli); his former wife Filomena Cortina; his siblings, Vincenza Pullo (Biagio), Albert Cortina and Gino Cortina (Silvana); and his brother-in-law Gino Pullo.
He is survived by: his wife Lina Ferrante Cortina; his children, Dino Cortina and Linda Lisi (Michael); his granddaughters, Julia and Rose Lisi; his stepdaughter Palma Flewellyn (Joseph); his stepgrandchildren, Laura Halovatch (Jeff) and Joseph Flewellyn; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ava, Olivia and Ryan Halovatch; his sisters-in-law, Sebastiana Cortina of Trumbull and Vincenza Cortina-Pullo of Ripi; and his caregiver Barbara Hendricks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
