He was predeceased by: his parents, Abdul Rehman and Salma Khatoon Seyal; his great grandchild Lilah Julianne Seyal; and his brothers, Kaneez F. Sumra (Azizah Shakir) of Bridgeport, CT, A. Rahim Seyal of Southport, CT and Hafiz M. Saifuilla Seyal of Fairfield, CT.

He is survived by: his wife Monika; his children, Farah (Khawar Qureshi) of Roseville, CA, Alexander (Kelly Seyal) of Albuquerque, NM, Yasmin (Karim Assef) of Wilton, CT and Tania Smith of Wilton, CT.; his grandchildren, Mueez, Ariba, Aniqa, Elyees Qureshi, Julian, Karoline Seyal, Michele, Christopher, Emily, Caroline Assef, Julia and Alexander Smith; his great grandchild Emilia Seyal; and his brother Halal Karim (Asad Seyal) of Edinburgh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
