Van Der Sluys (Trumbull, Connecticut), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Block and Helen Smits De Block; her husband Peter C. Van Der Sluys; and her brother Cornelius De Block. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie (Walter Arze) and Cherie (Scott Nagel); her grandchildren, Daniel, Hannah-Noel, Nathan, Abigail, Micah and Jessica; her sister Carol; and her siblings-in-law, George Wright and Francine De Block.
