We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2020, at the age of 88, Joyce Cooney (Trumbull, Connecticut), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Muldowney and Margaret Scheller Muldowney; her husband Paul D. Cooney; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Cooney; and her sister Jeanne Berry.

She is survived by: her children, William (Donna Cooney) of Cheshire, CT, Margaret Herlihy of Huntington, CT, Patrick Cooney and Lisa Nardone of Naples, FL; her sister Nancy Mowrer of Lancaster, PA; her grandchildren, William (Tammy), Mark, Michael Cooney, Kimberly McGuire (David), Brandon Cooney (Lindsay), Shannon DiCecco (James) and Ryan Cooney; and her great grandchildren, Erin, Meghan, Kathryn McGuire and Emma Cooney.
