She was predeceased by: her husband Steve S. Szygiel; her parents, Anthony Strazza and Antoinette Strazza (Tenaglia); and her grandson Stosh Walter Szygiel. She is survived by: her children, Amy O'Hagan (Sean) of Bel Air, MD, Laura Gaylord (Jim) of Saco, ME and Stephen A. Szygiel (Kara) of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Sophie, Jack O'Hagan, J. J., Thomas Gaylord and Crew Szygiel; and her siblings, Roxanne Azud (Rich), MaryAnn Charpentier (Jim), CathyAnn Ginise and Anthony Strazza (Angela). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
