He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Somers and Isabelle M. Somers; and his siblings, Robert Somers and Gail Somers. He is survived by: his wife Martha E. Anderson Somers of Trumbull; his children, Lisa Oliverius and Keith W. Somers of Oxford; his granddaughter Nicole P. Sypher (James); his stepchildren, Sarah Forster (Ed) of Oxford and Christopher Smith; and his former wife Patricia L. Somers of Beacon Falls. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home (167 Wakelee Ave, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (466 Elm St, Monroe, CT 06468).
