She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph M. McEwan; her parents, James Smith and Margaret Smith; and her siblings, Elizabeth Gillies, James and John Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Kozma (Barry Riley) of Fairfield, Patricia Bond (Clark) of Millsboro, DE and Lori-Jo Maisano (Joseph) of Brookfield; her sisters, Margaret Bjers of Fort Myers, FL and Mary Garris of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister-in-law Emily Smith of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Bram Kozma (Rosie Key), Kate Lepovsky (Todd) and Kelly Sevilla (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Mason Lepovsky, Charlotte and Cameron Sevilla. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
