She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Barnes and Lillian Atkinson Barnes; and her husband Wilbur. She is survived by: her siblings, Doris Warner, Robert Barnes and Leslie Barnes; her son Mark Barnes (Karen) of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Nicholas Barnes (Sarah), Lindsay Ingalls (Ben) and Alexandra Quartuccio (Timothy); her great grandchildren, Lillian, Emmett, Layla Barnes, Avery, Jacob Ingalls and Finnegan Quartuccio; her sister Carol Brown (Bill) of Newtown; and her nephew Paul. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
