It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hjalmar S. Norell Jr. of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on December 4, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Margaret Jankowski Norell; his daughter Natalie Norell Kozdeba; his sister Lily Mae Kalafus; his brother-in-law Joseph P. Jankowski Jr.; and his parents, Hjalmar Sr. Norell and Lillian Norell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Norell Zarrella (Christopher) and Nicole Norell Lay; his grandchildren, Oliver Ingraham Lay, Meredith Margaret Lay and Owen Hjalmar Lay; and his sister Marilee Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
