She was predeceased by: her parent Murray R. Schwerens; and her sister Joan Colman Hoytt. She is survived by: her spouse Richard Ackerman; her parent Marcella Goldsmith Schwerens; her daughters, Alison Healy (Tim) of Shelton and Eve Healy; her grandsons, Michael and Robert Healy; and also Richard.
