It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Smith of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Smith; her parents, Paul Kochis and Jennie Kochis; her children, Laura Nacovitch (Fred) and Barry; and her siblings, Jack Kochis, Thomas Kochis (Diane), Yolanda Tuz (Nick) and Valerie Adintori (Peter).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Smith of Shelton, Timothy Smith of Roxbury, Cheryl Hersh (Nick) of Monroe and Patti Reese (Jack) of Derby; her grandchildren, Jason Nacovitch, Ryan Nacovitch (Melissa), Nicholas Hersh (Megan), Jesse Hersh, Emily Sciortino (James), Brad Reese (Keri), Jennie Reese and Ian Reese (Sandra); her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Callie Everlith, Allie Hersh, Jack Reese and James Sciortino; her brother Paul Kochis (Julie); and her sister-in-law Helen Kochis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
