He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Marshall Ackley; his parents, Franklyne Ackley and Phoebe Saunders Ackley; his granddaughter Kyleigh Helena Leos; and his brothers, Jack, Harry and Art Ackley.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Leos (Jay) of Trumbull and William Ackley (Tori) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Kyera, Samantha, Charlie and Jacklynn; his great grandchild Gabrial; and his brother Frank Ackley Jr. (Georgiann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
