He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusto Cortina and Rosa Cortina (Zangrilli); his sister-in-law Filomena Cortina; and his siblings, Albert M. Cortina and Vincenza Pullo (Biagio).
He is survived by: his wife Silvana Cortina (Molliconi); his children, Robert Cortina (Jenny) of Trumbull and Cindy Deeb (Keith) of Weeki Wachee, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jaclyn Cortina, Matthew, Jessica and Valerie Deeb; his great grandchildren, David and Katherine Miner; his brother Lino Cortina (Lina) of Trumbull; and his sister-in-law Sebastiana Cortina of Trumbull. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
