We bid farewell to George W. Tietjen of Trumbull, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 82. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tietjen and Eleanore Tietjen (Kretschek). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Tietjen (Pyers); his children, Kevin Tietjen (Heather) and Laura Citarella (Jason); his grandchildren, Colin Tietjen, Michael, Keira and Julia Citarella; and his sister Elizabeth Cosgrove. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
