It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Giovanelli of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry J. Giovanelli; her parents, Anthony Scala and Rose DeMasi Scala; and her brother Sebastian "Sebe" Scala. She is survived by: her siblings, Anthony Scala (Helen) of Easton, Joseph Scala of Texas and Rosemarie McKeown (John) of Virginia; and her sister-in-law Anna Scala of Stratford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
