It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Melilli of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam C. Melilli; her parents, Albino Rodrigues and Bertha Rodrigues; and her sister Julia. She is survived by: her son Kenneth J. Melilli JD (Sandy) of Brookings, OR; her grandson Christopher; her daughter Lisa E. Melilli DrPH (Ira Haironson) of Brooklyn, NY; her pet Charles; and her brothers, Alan Rodrigues, Antonio and Manual Rodrigues. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
