He is survived by: his wife Marlene Morey (Geter); his siblings, Sandra Morey, Charles Morey, Richard Morey, Janie Harris and Michelle Lindsay; his children, Veronica Morey-Banks, Edward Nelson Morey III (Shedene), Sherry (Morey), McKnight (Daee), Marva (Harris) and Hamilton (Bryan); his grandchildren, Rasheem Banks (Meghan), Rashea Banks, Veratisha Morey, Rashauna Banks, Emily Morey and Edward Nelson Morey IV; and his great grandchild Addison Banks. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and beloved, long-standing friends.
