With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward M. Mayzel Sr. of Trumbull, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine "Fern" Mayzel (Guinta); and his parents, John Mayzel and Mary Mayzel (Skokan). He is survived by: his sons, Edward Mayzel Jr. of Harwinton, Gary Mayzel of Wethersfield and Douglas Mayzel (Kari) of Watertown, NY; his grandchildren, Tanner, Peyton, Noah and Jaeden Mayzel; his sister Anne Ferrari of Torrington; his sister-in-law Patricia Marsilio (John) of Shelton; his nieces, Deborah Ferrari (Martin Wheeler) of Hartford and Patricia Ferrari of Burlington; and his nephew Daniel McPadden of Shelton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Boy Scouts of America.
