It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris C. Farrell of Trumbull, Connecticut, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Semos and Anne Bachmann Semos; her son Peter Gura; and her sister Joan D'Agostino. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Gura, Susan Gura, Patti Gura and Jimmy Gura; her grandchildren, Joshua Lees (Brittany), Daniel Lees (Allyson) and Carol Gura; her great grandchildren, Luke, Hailey, Elliot, Nolan and Brandon; her siblings, Constance Ferrara, Patricia Savino, Robert Semos and Richard Semos; and her friends, Ruth and June. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
