He was predeceased by: his brother Paulo Monteiro; and his father-in-law Jose Delgado. He is survived by: his parents, Antonio Monteiro and Maria Teresa Monteiro; his wife Cecili Aparecida Monteiro; his sons, Nicholas Jose Monteiro and Marcus Paulo Monteiro; his godparents, Fernando Monteiro and Lisa Crespo; his goddaughter Sara Crespo; his mother-in-law Marlene Delgado; and his brother-in-law Glauber Delgado. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many dear friends.
