He is survived by: his wife Teresa Nascimento Martins; his sons, Carlos Martins Jr. of Trumbull and David Martins of New Hampshire; his granddaughter Sophia Martins; and his siblings, Diamantino Martins of Shelton, Jose Martins of Oxford, Antonio Martins of Bridgeport, Bernardina Braga of Portugal, Teresa Braga of Portugal, Palmira Dos Santos of Portugal, Jacinta Araujo of Portugal and Fatima Silva of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
