He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl M. Stella and Maria DeLuisa Stella; his siblings, James and Genevieve; and his stepchildren, James and Evana DiNuzzo.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lynders Stella; his son Carl Stella (Olga); his stepchildren, Anthony DiNuzzo, John DiNuzzo (Pina) and Elizabeth Jacksis (Steven); his daughter-in-law Linda DiNuzzo; his grandson Carl Stella; his stepgrandchildren, Christine Jachimski (Dan), Casey Dorry (Brandon), Meghan Petrillo (Joseph), Melissa Jacksis, Sabrina and Savannah DiNuzzo; and his great grandchildren, Connor and Zander.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
