He is survived by: his parents, Darrell Spears Sr. and Brenda Johnson (Bitting); his wife Christine Bitting (Castellini); his daughter Skylar Bitting; his stepfather Rev. Kevin Johnson of Torrington; his grandmother Geneva Bitting; and his siblings, Brianne Johnson, Arelisha Wright and Darrell Spears Jr.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
