She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lanns and Exeline Gumbs (Matthew). She is survived by: her children, Thursa Hinson (Kenneth Hinson) of Torrington, Tristian Jones of St. Croix, U. S and Tyreece Jones (Kamilah Weaver) of Arizona; her foster children, Fay Wharton and Rosie Wharton; and her siblings, Fitzroy Matthew (Eulene Matthew), Charles Lanns (Philomena Lanns), Ricardo Lanns, Collin Williams, Leon Williams and Bernadine Matthew. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
