He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Allen Formaggioni; his parents, Giacomo Formaggioni and Ida Formaggioni (Celadon); his grandson Christopher Rafferty; and his siblings, Albino, Siro, Rudolph Formaggioni, Zita Zajac and Alma Vaill.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald L. Formaggioni Jr., Lori Holt of Torrington and Lynn Hunter of Torrington; his grandchildren, Eric Rafferty, Ryan Hall and Colin Hunter; and his sister Blanche Zubrowski. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phalen Funeral Home (285 Migeon Ave, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
