He was predeceased by: his spouses, Torrington Mayor and Mary Jane Gryniuk (Schroeder); his parents, Stanley and Anna Gryniuk (Bujac); and his brother Bernard Gryniuk.
He is survived by: his children, Mark W. Gryniuk (Linda) of New Hartford, Michael R. Gryniuk of New Haven, Jeffrey L. Gryniuk (Liz Jacob) of Harwinton and Julie Ann Nilsson (Alan) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Mitchell Gryniuk, Jordan Marie Nilsson, Lukas Gryniuk, Jacob Nilsson and Nathan Gryniuk; and his brother James Gryniuk (Chris) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
