He is survived by: his wife Sally Scherbner (Cole); his children, Pamella Scherbner of Torrington, CT, Margaret Boyer (Stephen) of Wernersville, PA and Vincent Scherbner (Gina) of Harwinton, CT; his sister Mary-Ellen Foster (Jon) of New Milford, CT.; and his grandchildren, Mitchell, Julia, Jackie and Ethan.
