She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emilio Zordan and Antoinette Zordan (Genovese); her grandparents, Dominic and Carmela Genovese of Waterbury; her husband Frank J. McGowan; her children, Thomas McGowan of Torrington, CT, Maria McGowan of Essex, CT, Brenda Paniati (David) of Torrington, CT and Marcie McGowan-Hajam (Said) of Katonah, NY; her siblings, Emilio Zordan (Linda), Joseph Zordan and Palma Spunt of Chestnut Hill, MA; her daughter-in-law Brenda McGowan; her grandchildren, Zachary, Tom Jr., Cierra, Nicholas, Michael, Owen, Brendan, Adam and Elias; her son Frank J. McGowan, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law LaRoyce McGowan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a. m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a. m. Protective face masks are required to be worn while inside of St. Peter Church.
